What does the eye tell us about our health?

What does the eye tell us about our health?

The eye is a powerful observatory on our health. A complex network of blood vessels can be inspected directly and inexpensively through the pupil. Can these blood vessels and their changes signal the risk of serious systemic problems, like cardiovascular disease or dementia? Three researchers from the Universities of Edinburgh and Dundee discuss their work in an interdisciplinary conversation across ophthalmology, genetics and computer science.
