To mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Italian Institute of Culture will screen The Sky is Falling (Il cielo cade), a film by Andrea and Antonio Frazzi adapted from the autobiographical novel by Lorenza Mazzetti.
A moving film about the horrors of war. Viewed through the eyes of the central character Penny (Isabella Rossellini), The Sky Is Falling follows a Jewish family who live an idyllic life in an elegant villa in the Tuscan countryside during the summer of 1944 without persecution until a retreating German army enter their small town.
