With the objective of encouraging the translation of Italian books abroad, Centro per il libro e la lettura in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has released a call for application for two native English speakers translators to Italian for a monthly stay at Fondazione Ugo Da Como in Lonato del Garda (BS) in July 2022.
Prerequisites are the existence of a contract with a publisher for a translation work (preferably non-fiction) from Italian into the mother-tongue of the candidate or a translation work in progress.
Applications must be sent to: info@fondazioneugodacomo.it and must reach the Foundation by 6.00 pm (Italian time) on 31st March 2022.
