Retina Scottish International Photography Festival.
For the first time the Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to take part in the Retina Festival, with an exhibition by the celebrated photographer Luigi Giannetti. The images are taken from his book Religiosità. In Religiosità his tendency to anthropological analysis reaffirms itself with strength. Photography becomes witness and interpreter of the religious feeling. His images have an archaic taste, where places, rituals and situations seem to come from different times.
Luigi Giannetti, with his discreet presence, tries to catch the spontaneity and the feelings of the people.
The exhibition will take place at Out of the Blue 36 Dalmeny Street EH6 8RG and will be open to the public from the 16th – 24th July.
