The lyrical Quartetto di Cremona are making their long-awaited Scottish premiere in October. Having just released the final disc in their Beethoven String Quartets series, they will be touring the epic Beethoven String Quartet No. 14, alongside Shostakovich and adding a touch of Italian flavour with Boccherini and Vacchi. Their Scottish tour has been acclaimed as a ‘terrific piece of news for lovers of chamber music’ by Michael Tumelty of The Herald.
