The event focuses on the preservation, sustainable exploitation and mapping of unique Italian historical sites, in line with the European Semester themes. The question of territorial identity will be at the centre of the event.
The Historical Rural Sites exhibition, promoted by Prof. Mauro Agnoletti of the University of Florence, is the result of an international research project involving several Italian universities and 80 scholars within FAI (Fondo Italiano per l’Ambiente), UNESCO as well as international research institutions including the University of Cambridge.
