Dance Base Festival Fringe 2014
For three years Dance Base, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Italian Cultural Institute, has been delighted to curate and showcase the best contemporary choreographers from Italy.
This showcase is an essential ingredient of Dance Base’s award-winning international dance programme selected exclusively for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Bringing together love, food, iconic stars and rebellious riffs on reality, this year’s offering is a true representation of a country that is rightly famous for its love of food and la dolce vita, but always with an original twist and amazing design.
Elvis did not leave this building! He lives, in our heart and minds, always. Comical, poignant and ghostly, his physical destruction left a trail of stardust. Two poetic solos about disappearance, reconfiguration and the power of overlapping reality and illusion.
