Dance Base Festival Fringe 2014
For three years Dance Base, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Italian Cultural Institute, has been delighted to curate and showcase the best contemporary choreographers from Italy.
This showcase is an essential ingredient of Dance Base’s award-winning international dance programme selected exclusively for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Bringing together love, food, iconic stars and rebellious riffs on reality, this year’s offering is a true representation of a country that is rightly famous for its love of food and la dolce vita, but always with an original twist and amazing design.

Three erotic and enigmatic figures shift from solidarity to cruelty in a sparse and beautiful landscape, an artwork in itself. These creatures slide, grapple and intersect until they reach the ultimate … is it destruction or evolution?
