RSNO Chamber Series 13:14

Baroque Fireworks

The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with music by the great composers.

They called him “the Red Priest” – and Vivaldi’s inspiration was as fiery and as brilliant as his hair. A crack team of RSNO string players launch themselves headlong at some of the most dazzling music that the Baroque era has to offer, and not just by Vivaldi: concerti by Handel and Locatelli will bring the house down in a red-hot cascade of notes.

Vivaldi Concerto for four violins

Handel Concerti grossi Op6 No.5 and Op6 No.7

Locatelli Concerto grosso No.6
