XIV Settimana Della Lingua Italiana Nel Mondo

This year the World Italian Language Week (Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo), has been chosen by the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale to promote the Italian Language throughout the world focusing on the theme: Scrivere la nuova Europa: editoria italiana, autori e lettori nell’era digitale

In a famous trial a Native American asked: If this is your land, where are your stories? (J. Edward Chamberlin). To be part of a territory also means participating in its stories. Stories, myths and legends help to create a sense of citizenship and belonging. This is how this research started; this is the journey of Europe. With the storyteller Giovanna Conforto and the art historian Daniela Corradini; both of them have been involved in landscape narratives since 2010, with their project The Strolling Stories (www.strollingstories.org). They also take part in the EU project on landscape narratives “Seeing Stories” (www.seeingstories.eu).
