Linley Hamilton is one of Northern Ireland’s best known jazz personalities: musician, educator and broadcaster. He currently presents ‘Linley Hamilton’ on BBC Radio Ulster and leads his own jazz quartet playing trumpet and flugel horn. Hamilton’s associations as a session musician include Van Morrison, Jacqui Dankworth and Paul Brady.
Scott Flanigan is one of the foremost keyboard players on the Northern Irish jazz scene. He performs both locally and nationally, and has recently performed with Van Morrison, the Ulster Orchestra, Larry Coryell, Jean Toussaint, Mike Nielsen, David Lyttle, Linley Hamilton, Dana Masters and Mark McKnight. A keen composer and arranger, Scott studied piano at Queen’s University and is currently working towards his Masters degree in Jazz Performance in Dublin. In addition to performing frequently around Ireland, Scott is also an in-demand educator, with over ten years classical and jazz tuition experience in both the classroom and the practice room. Scott’s debut album ‘Point Of Departure’ was released in October 2015.
Luigi Cirillo has been dedicated to music studies since an early age. An eclectic route, through saxophone and guitar, has led him to singing, where he has found his natural expressive dimension. He improved his vocalism under the guidance of M. Mario Castiglia as a soloist and chorister. He worked as a soloist with the Orchestra Fantasia Napoletana, touring throughout Italy. He performed in Poland and Spain as a chorister with the Renaissance ensemble Principe San Severino, participating in international art music festivals (colto/extracolto). His continuous training allows him to exhibit an extreme vocal ductility, from throat singing to Renaissance and Jazz.
