Dunedin Dancers organises an International Folk Dance Festival every two years. This year three European folk dance groups from Italy, Germany and France will join the Festival.The Italian folkloristic group, Pacchianeddra Sansustisa gruppo folk, joins this year festival. They will play musical instruments linked to the Calabrian tradition including accordion, bagpipes, tambourine, and guitar. In the performances the group evokes through dance and song the most significant moments of the 12 months of the year and the religious activities of the rural ”sansostese” territory.For more information please click here.
