The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival on its 40th anniversary sets out to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for you. This year programme features the best of jazz and blues from all over the world and all over Scotland.
The Italian group play furious electro-swing music that sucks everyone into a swirl of Jive, Swing and Rock ‘n’ Roll, matching a retro sound that seems to come from a tube radio, with modern beats and grooves. It’s a wacky Italian experience fronted by Mr Bricks on vocals and guitar and Wanda Lassarovich on bass, songs and sultry looks. They are joined by the Gypsy-Jazz game of Marco Indino’s trumpet, Elijah’s percussion and DJ Bisso, for whom “scratching” is synonymous with dancing! They’re summer Festival favourites across Europe from Bestival to Fusion Festival. First time in Scotland!
