Lucia Serena Rossi is Professor of European Union Law at the Law School of the University of Bologna and Director of the International Research Centre on European Law (C.I.R.D.E).
The Centre has been active within the University of Bologna since 1991. Before the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty (2009) the Centre was operating under the acronym C.I.R.D.C.E. (Interdepartmental Research Centre on EC Law). Its main aim is to deepen and disseminate knowledge on European Law.
During the seminar Professor Rossi will outline the following points:
1. The many Crises of the EU;
2. The EU is already a patchowrk of integration;
3. Brexit: a challenge to the EU existing system;
4. What Perspectives? The Rome Declaration and the scenario(s) of Differentiated Integration in the EU;
