Founded in 1978, Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival is now one of the largest and most respected jazz and blues festivals in Europe. The program features new commissions, projects, and exciting collaborations with creative musicians from both home and abroad, including this concert.
Sharing precocious fluency, flaring tones and sweeping confidence, Italian trumpeter Daniele Raimondi and Scottish saxophonist Konrad Wiszniewski made a huge splash with their EJBF debut in 2022. With the addition of a crack rhythm section, expect expressive and captivating music packed with energy and style from two musicians at the top of their improvisational game.
