The event “Le stelle italiane di Armagh” is a special occasion that will take place on Sunday 22nd October at the Armagh Observatory, thanks to Marc Sarzi, Head of Research at the Observatory. This event is organized by the Comites of Scotland and Northern Ireland, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Edinburgh and the Italian Institute of Culture on the occasion of the 23rd Week of the Italian Language in the World.
“Le stelle italiane di Armagh” will be a day dedicated to exploring Italian contribution to the astronomy and sustainability in Northern Ireland. Italian astrophysics researchers from the Armagh Observatory will share information and insights on the significant Italian contribution to astronomy in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The participants could visit the “Climate Change Exhibition” realised by Marc Sarzi for COP 26. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience an engaging and family friendly show in the planetarium, exploring the starry sky and learning more about the universe around us.
