Born in Rome and residing in Tokyo for over a decade, Laura Imai Messina is a celebrated Italian author known for her lyrical and moving writing. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, where she also teaches. Laura’s work bridges cultural divides, weaving together Japanese and Italian influences to create stories that touch the heart and soul.
