In 6 meetings of 2 hours each, the Italian Book Club will explore three books by contemporary Italian authors that might then present their work at one of the Italian Institute of Culture upcoming events.
During two meetings per book with their Book Club facilitator, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the authors and background of the chosen books, read aloud a few chosen passages and learn more about grammar, language structures and vocabulary throughout the reading. Participants will then be encouraged to discuss and ask questions about the book’s characters, plot, message, style, and overall enjoyment of their specific reading experience.
The Italian Book Club will meet in person at Italy House between March and June 2025.
